ABOUT

I'm a graphic designer born and raised in Kosovo, who has had a fascination with visual and sonic branding, and how clever broadcasters can get with their creativity on the screen. This fascination has existed for me since around 2011, but I only started this channel in July 2017 to share the admiration (and sometimes lack thereof, let's be real) of the craft. It also helps me put names and credit to the hard work of those who produce original titles that often go unnoticed by the general public. The entire teams of people dedicated to handling branding and opening titles are usually nameless. My channel is a way to showcase that.The Intro Collector (Albanian: Mbledhësi i Siglave) is the channel that I run since 2017, where I post various intro graphics (and more) from any Albanian-speaking television station, as a way to share our thoughts about them and track the development of visual identity in Albanian television. The channel covers the area of Kosovo, Albania and North Macedonia (most of what's considered "Greater Albania"), but with a focus on Kosovo since that's just the place I live in and whose media I'm most familiar with.Some notes about the channel
- Videos on TIC will sometimes contain Albanian and English closed captions if there is speech. Corrections are always appreciated.
- Some clips may appear in the wrong framerate simply because of the poor support of 25fps livestreaming on YouTube. I may also sometimes fix this manually, by rearranging every frame to ensure the highest quality I can.

Unë jam një dizajner grafik i lindur dhe i rritur në Kosovë, i cili ka pasur një magjepsje me markën vizuale dhe zanore, dhe se sa të zgjuar mund të jenë transmetuesit me kreativitetin e tyre në ekran. Kjo magjepsje ka ekzistuar për mua që rreth vitit 2011, por unë fillova këtë kanal vetëm në korrik 2017 për të ndarë admirimin (dhe ndonjëherë mungesën e tij, hajde tash) të zanatit. If you're about to issue a copyright claim or takedown, please consider the following.The Intro Collector makes no profit off these videos, since it's a showcase of other people's work in television that I run for a hobby in my spare time. I own only the graphics I create for the channel, and the logo. I don't claim any ownership on anything else I post. Everything I post is isolated from other long-form pieces of content (i.e. full episodes of TV programs) that ARE publicly available to view on each station's respective YouTube channel. I do my best to place a link back to the original full video I've extracted from in the video's descriptions, and to credit every station accordingly.My purpose with the channel is informational and archival since stations don't tend to post intros or advertise their rebrands on their own. It's to create a clearer picture of how Albanian television is evolving. My intentions are not to infringe on any copyright, although I am fully aware of the implications of Kosovo and U.S. copyright law and how it works. However, blocking the clips I post on the channel only hurts my personal standing on the station taking it down, and it makes no sense as what I post isn't a substitute for the real shows that I extract from (which ARE copyright-protected works). Thus, I ask of you to instead only send me a copyright claim as it doesn't hurt viewership for either of us, our channels, or your shows. CORRECTIONS

People make mistakes, we're all human. I'm also human, and thus there will inevitably be mistakes in my videos. I will make sure to correct them when I can. If it's a technical detail in the description, the description will be updated. However, mistakes can happen even in the video itself, which can't be edited. In that situation, I'll include a card beside the video that links to another video that links to this page. I'd use a direct link but I can't link to websites through Cards.

- The intro style for ProSieben Newstime was divided into three eras, one where the opening was aired in full (2004-2006), one when only the title card was used along with the headlines (2006-2009), and the final when the same thing was aired in 16:9 HD. I mistakenly wrote these off as the same period when they are not; the clip I used came from the first era.
- Vizion Plus's Lajme opening was changed to an ITV ripoff by 2019. This has its own entire Copycat video.
